Unbound is built with a local-first approach:
- We do not collect or store the content of your activity.
- We do not log which applications you use or how you use them.
- We do not access your browsing history.
- We do not collect personally identifiable data without your consent.
3. System permissions
The app may request access to:
- Screen Time / Family Controls: to apply restrictions to apps and content.
- Notifications (optional): for session or routine reminders.
These permissions are used only to power focus features.
4. Data storage
- All settings (block lists, sessions, routines) are stored locally on your device.
- We do not send this information to external servers.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
In-app purchases are handled by Apple.
- We do not have access to your payment information.
- We only receive your subscription status to enable premium features.
6. Third-party services
We may use third-party services only to:
- Manage subscriptions
- Improve app stability (crash reporting)
These services do not access your lists or in-app behavior.
7. Security
Because most data stays on your device, the risk of external exposure is significantly reduced.
